I am using oil sticks and canvas for the first time. The oil sticks draw a lot like oil pastels - but dry like oil paint. I really enjoyed working this large (3x4 foot) - the challenge is getting everything into the same perspective and scale. The drawing session with the model was about 30 minutes.
